Banks Journal Studio

Banks Journal Studio was a programme pairing the brand with artists to create limited capsule collections, campaign assets and events across owned channels. The first collaboration brought together Venezuelan-Australian artist Nadia Hernández — whose practice explores folklore, identity and political change through collage, craft and text. Her vivid, symbol-laden world translated naturally into the brand's coastal aesthetic, and the studio led the full creative rollout: art direction, campaign assets and launch event, introducing Banks Journal to an audience beyond the surf aisle.
